We%26#39;ll be staying in VIP #115 the last week of October in the Marais and was wondering what your favorites eateries are?
Also, has anyone had beautiful weather the last week of October?

We%26#39;ve had two nice meals in the Marais, one at Robert %26amp; Louise, 64, Rue Vieille du Temple and one at Le Colimacon one block away at 44, Rue Vieille du Temple.
We passed an interesting Lebonese restaurant on our last trip and plan to try it out in the future, La Taverne du Nil, 16-18 rue Le Regrattier.

I enjoyed myself tremendously at the Lizard Lounge. This is not a fancy restaurant, but I liked the casual atmosphere and menu, and the bellinis. The Street was beautiful too--Rue Bourg Tibourg.

We had a lovely lunch at the Cafe Carnavalet (just north of Rue Francs Bourgeois near the Carnavalet museum, across the street from Square Georges Cain).

If you use the search box above the posts and type in the words %26quot;Marais restaurants%26quot; or some such without the quotes I don%26#39;t doubt that you will find more than a few threads that will give you all kinds of suggestions.
In amy case, your question as it stands is too vague to produce a useful database. Presumably you are looking for places reasonably close to %26quot;VIP #115%26quot; wherever that may be. And no doubt you have some budgetary constraints, maybe even some food preferences. Without that information all you will get is a random series of answers that may or may not be useful to you...

Hi Natalie,
What a coincidence ... I%26#39;m staying in VIP #115 in mid October and am really looking forward to the trip.
Two casual places that I have on my list (based on TA recommendations) are L%26#39;As du Fallafel on 34 rue de Rosiers and Breizh Cáfe at 109, rue Vieille du Temple for crepes / galettes.
Will be watching this thread for more tips.

For dinner in the Marais, we like Le Gaigne -- a tiny purple bistro run by young chef Mickaël Gaignon and his wife. (Mark Bittman of the New York Times recently gave it a good review, and so it will important to reserve for the next few months. 12, rue Pecquay (4th arrondissement). Métro: Rambuteau. Tel. 01.44.59.96.72.
On the edge of le Marais, in the 3rd, we like Le Pamphlet, a stylish and friendly place for contemporary Basque-inspired dining. 38, rue Debelleyme. Métro: Filles-du-Calvaire. Tel. 01.42.72.39.24.
For Lunch in the Marais, we like Mariage Frères. The firm is more than 140 years old, and offers more than three hundred kinds of tea served at lunch, brunch, and in the late afternoon. Numerous menu options are offered, including foie gras, small cut sandwiches on green bread, and salads. 30-32 rue du Bourg-Tibourg (4th arrondissement). Métro: Hôtel-de-Ville. Tel. 01.42.72.28.11.
Also for lunch in the Marias, next to the Seine, we enjoy the terrace of Restaurant Louis Philippe, a traditional and cozy, cafe/wine bar and restaurant. 66, quai de l’hôtel de ville. Métro: Pont Marie. Tel. 01.42.72.29.42.

Stockholm 28, we love L%26#39;As du Fallafel and Breizh Cafe! At L%26#39;As, you will see a crowd of people lining up to take-out. There is also a crowded but extremely clean dine-in area. The lemonade is refreshing. Locals claim that the fallafel places across the way are just as good too.
Breizh Cafe has fantastic crepes from Brittany, ciders and fruit nectars. The oysters are always good. They use Bordier butter for their bread.
