My wife and I are traveling to France. We%26#39;re flying into Paris and then going to Nice for a few days and then back to Paris for a few days. Our flight from Paris to Nice is 6 hours after landing into Paris. We figured we%26#39;d step outside the airport and get a bite to eat or see if there was something worth checking out.
Any suggestions for restaurants or sights near the CDG airport?

No. There are none. Eat at the airport.

yep -- 6 hours isn%26#39;t enough, by the time you land, get through customs, and get a cab, you%26#39;ve very, very little time before you have to turn round and come right back to the airport.
Freshen up, get some lunch, and it will be time for your next flight.

I guess you didn%26#39;t like the answers you got to essentially the same question on your other thread. sadly, the facts did not change in the intervening few hours. As I said then: %26quot;The problem is that CDG is out in the middle of nowhere and there really isn%26#39;t anywhere close to amuse yourselves for that short a time. I%26#39;m afraid I come to the same conclusion as the previous posters. Take the train or bring a good book.%26quot;

You could get a day room at the Sheraton which is attached to one of the terminals....
We once stayed at the Marriott Courtyard which is only 5 minutes away by shuttle bus... they have an exercise room and pool plus restaurants and bar.
Perhaps a Google search will turn up some other amenities in nearby hotels you might like....

If you really want to exit the airport, you can take the bus into Roissy. It%26#39;s not a compelling visit but then it%26#39;s not the airport and it is close by.
The bus leaves from the Terminal 2 bus station.

Thanks a lot for the replies. I was really just looking to get out the airport. We%26#39;re going to be travel a lot before we get in so figured we%26#39;d get out of the %26quot;system%26quot;.
I think I%26#39;ll google the day room and see how that might fit in.
