Driving Holiday St Malo to Santander

Hi,

My boyfriend and I are planning on spending 2 weeks driving through France to Spain next summer. The rough plan is to get the ferry to St Malo and then make our way, slowly, down the West Coast of France and the Northern Coast of Spain getting the ferry back from Santander.

We are looking for some inspiration of where to stop along the way. We are in our mid-20%26#39;s and would like to spend some time on the beach, visiting historical sites, vineyards, enjoying the food as we go, activities e.g. kayaking, cycling etc.

We will probably do a mixture of camping and guest houses.

We are completely open to any ideas people have to offer, and would be love to hear from people who%26#39;ve done similar trips.
