My friend Sharon and I had the privilege of staying at property #297 in the 16th arrondissement. close to the Eiffel Tower for 5 nights in September.
One can be apprehensive about booking a reservation on line, but do not hesitate about staying at Chrystel and Jean%26#39;s property. The neighborhood is quiet, convenient and safe. Their home is beautiful and spotlessly clean. All the details from the linens, slippers, robes, bathroom amenties, and breakfasts were wonderful.
When we arrived Chrystel was not home yet, but Anna, their friendly, warm, smiling housekeeper, welcomed us with tea in one of the beautiful salons or sitting rooms.
Chrystel speaks fluent english and is extemely knowledgeable and helpful about sights, and restaurants in the area. She is also very willing to help in any way that is needed.
I would highly recommend staying at this property. You will have wonderful memories of Paris.

Hello,
I will travel to Paris in Sept, and I also like your mentioned B%26amp;B of Chrystel and Jean%26#39;s property. Would you please send their contact to me if you have? I will have a long stay, so I want to talk with them directly. Many thanks

Unfortunately, not all experiences with this organisation are good.
I booked five nights with a bed and breakfast for myself about a month or two ago.
I arrived with high expectations and a love of France.
I don%26#39;t want to complain and yab on but...
The apartment was tiny and located in a terrible neighbourbood not suitable for a female travelling by herself like I was.
There were prostitutes and not safe looking people right outside the window... when I confronted this problem with the owner it was not denied I was assured there were undercover policemen watching for us... mmm ok.
They only rent one bedroom with i had for five days and the other one if occupied by a man which would be ok if the bedroom had a lock on it, and the bathroom door closed properly which they didn%26#39;t. I had to shower when he was not there because i couldn%26#39;t get the bathroom door closed and hope he wouldn%26#39;t come home.
%26quot;Parisian breakfast%26#39; consisted of loaf of bread grocery cereal juice and jam... the first time i decided to use this %26#39;service%26#39; was on my third day and the bread was mouldy and the juice half drunk.. not the picture perfection shown in an image to me.
Finally, whilst I was in Paris I contracted Swine Flu. I notified the company and told them of my condition and asked for sympathy and consideration in giving me a partial refund for my last night (two nights in advance) so i could seek proper edical attention at home in London. I was given nothing but rude emails and although I asked the owner not to hear my complaints until after I had left (because we were living in such close proximity i thought it would be embarrasing) they did tell him and I was approached by him angrily. He then proceeded to call me a very bad tourist and a liar and stupid. Not the ideal treatment you expect from someone you are paying a stupid amount of money.
I told them I would leave at 12 which was agreed upon. at 11:40 i was hurried out of my room which was not yet completely packed as he changed the sheets in front of me while I finisehed getting ready because he was double parked.
Terrible experience which ruined Paris for me. The company was rude inconsiderate and liers. (I did ask ahead of time if the area was safe for a young woman travelling alone and I was assured it was fine... it definately was not fine. I was mugged on my first night and I did not feel safe walking around by myself let alone at night time. )

Alcove %26amp; Agape has numerous properites to choose from. We chose #297.
I am sincerely sorry for your bad experience with the agency. Our property proprietor was wonderful, as was the beauty of the property outside and interior. This neighborhood was as safe as it gets. We could not have been more satisfied.
