You can, but you%26#39;ll have to change trains once, at least. The French SNCF-site is kind of confusing, but for the schedules you can stick to the German Bahn site as well:

From: Strasbourg

To: Paris

Click the blue arrow to the right of %26quot;Means of Transport%26quot; and select %26quot;without ICE%26quot;

I would like to ask how much does it normaly cost to take the train between paris-strasbourg? That website does not say prices- I cannot book online anyways?

Cheers

You can travel from Paris to Strasbourg by the regular trains called %26quot;Ter.%26quot; The problem is it would take you 6 hours or longer and there are no direct trains. You%26#39;d have to change at least once, in Nancy, and possibly two or three times. Leaving Paris at 8 pm it would probably be impossible.

You wouldn%26#39;t save much either if anything. Advance purchase PREMs fares on this route on the TGV are €31. If you are travelling at short notice or cannot lock yourself in to the non-refundable PREMs ticket, the full fare would be between about €65 and €85 one way. The Ter fare, for which there are no PREMs tickets, would be about €65, so you would save little if any money and have a much less convenient trip.

Check all your options at voyages-sncf.com but you%26#39;ll have to research the Ter option in two parts, Paris to Nancy Ville and Nancy Ville to Strasbourg.
