Looking for a Paris Hotel

About this time next year-- Sept 2010--my wife and I maybe in Paris.

I%26#39;m looking for a good hotel away from the city center, near the sub-way, because the city center hotels seem to be very expensive.

Also, looking for one with air condition %26quot;Rooms%26quot;. The only ones I%26#39;ve seen have air conditioning in public areas only.

Thanks for any help.

Mauser, what is budget in euros per night. My idea of affordable may not be your idea.

I always stay at hotels with A/C,, but do not always need it.

Sept is more expensive then August,, if you can move your trip up a few weeks you may find cheaper hotel prices.

I have paid from 60-200 euros,, but find central decent hotels mostly for about 100 euros.

We stayed in a little hotel in the 15th arrond.

5 minutes walk from the Vaugirard Metro

Yes, it did have aircon.

Best rate at present for your time of travel seems to be 100-120 euro per night

You should consider using Priceline%26#39;s %26quot;Name Your Own Price%26quot; feature or Hotwire.com

Priceline, especially in Paris, can put you in a hotel with a/c, a but further out for the 100-150 USD a night range.

You have lots of time to learn the ins and outs... go to http://www.biddingfortravel.com and http://www.betterbidding.com to see how things work.

I have no experience with this place but a regular contributor to T/A has been using it for years and recommends it:
