I am travelling in a party of3 going to Laroche-Migennes (end of August). We were going to get RER train from CDG to Gare du Nord, then a taxi to Gare du Bercy. Then RER train to Laroche-Migennes.
Is there anyway I can get the tickets in advance
None of us has much French
Thanks

It%26#39;s just a local train. You can buy your tickets off the SNCF website (www.voyages-sncf.com) but you would have to pick them up at a station anyway -- and you can do that at the train station at CDG.
No point in taking a taxi from Gare du Nord unless you enjoy taxis. You can take the RER to Denfert-Rochereau and transfer to metro line 6, which will take you to Bercy.

note: the train to Laroche-Migennes in not an RER. It is a TER.

Thanks for help, the taxi was mentioned in an earlier forum and it sounded good for us pensioners who struggle with luggage.

... in which case, you would still be better off staying on the RER until Denfert-Rochereau to avoid having to cross the entire city by taxi.

You get the Laroche Migennes train from Gare do Lyon

To clear up any confusion, nine out of ten trains to L-M DO leave from BERCY. The few that leave from Gare de Lyon take up to an hour longer for the trip.
Timetables at voyages-sncf.com or bahn.de if you find that one easier to use. Only the French site will display fares.

Thanks for your reply - I read it on my return.
We found the journey very easy but tiring with all the walking at CDG to the train depot.
Paris CDG to Bercy (trains ran every 8 minutes); Taxi to Gare du Nord (13 euros worth every penny);
then train to Larouche-Migennes (trains ran every hour).
It was even easier on the return as the Taxi driver from Bercy gave us a good fare straight back to CDG
