Could someone let me know an estimate for a taxi from Gard du Nord to Rue du Champs de Mars, on a Sunday for 4 people plus luggage.

You will need two taxis. Each will be no more than 15-18 Euro plus one Euro for each piece of luggage. As you reach the head of the taxi que you might be able to secure a van for all four plus luggage if one is available and there usually are several.
