Paris Bercy to accomodation

My husband and daughter and I arrive from Italy at Paris Bercy. What is the best and easiest way to get to GeorgeV metro which is near our accomodation?

Is Bercy huge and if anyone replies could you really spell it out for me so it is easy to follow...havent been to Paris before.

Also what is the cost of a %26quot;carnet de billets%26quot; and do you need a ticket for each leg of a journey if you have to change trains or metro?

It is called Gare de Paris-Bercy and is not a huge station, don%26#39;t worry. To take the metro you need to walk a bit to the Bercy merto station. From there take line 14 (direction St-Lazare) for one stop to Gare de Lyon, switch lines to metro line 1 (direction La Déferce) and go to George V metro station.

A carnet costs 11.60 EU (5.80 for kids under 10).

One ticket is good for the journey (can switch trains, just don%26#39;t exit the station). Keep the tics until your final destination, sometimes they check.

Here is an interactive map of Paris with metro lines indicated, give it a moment to download parisbytrain.com/files/2008/10/metro_geo.pdf

I%26#39;d make one tweak to that recommendation, take métro line-14 to CHATELET and change to line-1. The line-14 platforms are directly below the line-1 platforms at Chatelet but they%26#39;re a 10-15 minute walk across the huge Gare de Lyon station with lots of stairs.

Also, the métro station that serves Gare de Bercy is actually a couple of blocks away from the station. The signage is good so you can trust it.

Mole, it%26#39;s funny, I usually avoid Chatelet cause it%26#39;s so huge, but I%26#39;m sure you are correct.

It is huge, usually confusing, but in this case it%26#39;s a straightforward transfer. I%26#39;m pretty picky about recommending Chatelet at all. Line-1 and line-14 are at opposite sides of the Gare de Lyon concourse and the signage is terrible.

Thanks everyone, you have been really helpful, I think I will get off at CHATELET as suggested and then on to George V
