In answering a post here it got me to thinking about where to eat on a Sunday in Paris. We will be staying in the 4th on Rue St Paul. Any suggesrions for a moderately priced (around 100 euros for 2 people)resturants openend on a Sunday. We like to walk so any place within a 20 minute walk is good. Thanks

You%26#39;ll find most places open in the Marais on a Sunday in fact the place is buzzing. Had lunch last Sunday at Chez Janou, around the corner from place des Vosges,(2 rue Roger Verlomme) and was the best meal we had in Paris. Every dish delivered to neighbouring tables made me want to try them all. www.chezjanou.com They are open for lunch and evenings. A word of warning they get very, very busy - very popular with locals.
But wherever you go you will have no difficulty finding places open in the 4th.

Bofinger is open on Sundays. Old-fashioned but fun IMO.

L%26#39;Ambassade d%26#39;Auvergne is open daily and near enough the Centre Beaubourg (aka Centre National d%26#39;Art et de Culture G. Pompidou). They specialize in dishes from Auvergne, like aligot (whipped cheesy mashed potatoes), sausages, stuffed cabbage.
Breizh Cafe, 3eme, is the best crepe bretonne place. They serve much more than just crepes (search the thread on crepes and you will see what has already been written about this place).
Cafe des Musees, 3eme, is another place open on Sundays.
Le Fin Gourmet is my go-to place on Ile Saint Louis. Prices are extremely good and may include a glass of wine.
And don%26#39;t forget L%26#39;As du Fallafel, often billed as the world%26#39;s best fallafel. It%26#39;s probably not what you%26#39;re looking for since you specified a restaurant around 100 euros, but I thought I would throw it in under the %26quot;open on Sunday%26quot; bill.

Thanks for all the suggestions!

The Chez Clément at Place de la Bastille is open on Sundays and offers good, reliable traditional French cuisine.
Bon appétit!

At a guess I would say that about 80% of Paris restaurants open on a Sunday - certainly I have never had any trouble finding somewhere to eat on any day. (80% means about 7000 to chose from)
