Need Metro Help for Novotel: Les Halles

Hi all. Well, I%26#39;ve now been given 3 different pieces of information about taking the metro to this hotel. I%26#39;ll be taking Line 14 to the Chatelet stop. Does anyone know what I do from there to come out in front of the hotel? I%26#39;ve been told the following and I don%26#39;t know which is correct:

1. Look for exit number 10

2. Exit at Rue Sainte Opportunite

3. Exit at Ru de la Lingerie

I was there last year, and I could swear we looked for exit number 10, but when I mentioned that to the two women I have already spoken to, they had no idea what exit number 10 is!

THANK YOU!!!

from the Novotel Les Halles internet site:

directions:

Metro: Châtelet.

Lines 1, 7 and 11 : exit Place Ste-Opportune

Line 4 : exit Rue des Lingeres (the site used the wrong word (lingerie.)

Line 14 : exit n°10.

RER : Châtelet-les Halles, Lines A, B and D. Station: exit Forum des Halles, Porte Berger.

the hotel is at Place Marguerite de Navarre 75001 1er Arrondissement Paris, Paris, France check map at http://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en%26amp;um=1%26amp;ie=UTF-8%26amp;q=Place+Marguerite+de+Navarre+75001+1er+Arrondissement+Paris,+Paris,+France%26amp;fb=1%26amp;geocode=7678765

see layout of Chatelet station at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chatelet_(Paris_Metro)

note that it says on the site:

%26quot;The station is made up of two parts connected by a long corridor:

* lines 7 and 11 under the Place du Châtelet and the Quai de Gesvre (site of the original medieval river port of Paris), next to the Seine;

* lines 1, 4 and 14 towards Rue Saint-Denis and the Rue de Rivoli.

getting off the line 14 take the elevator and follow signs. there got to be an exit 10. If not go out to ground level and wander around looking at the map of Paris you have already purchased, I hope..there is actually a metro entrance/ exit on place M. de Navarre..

between me and the fence post, you could have chosen a hotel in a less confusing area..

The line 14 elevator is the closest exit, but it isn%26#39;t always working. It isn%26#39;t a big deal. The Novotel is hard to miss.

Thank you both...what%26#39;s confusing is that the web site %26amp; 2 employees of the hotel have given me 3 different pieces of information...sigh...My dad is actually the one coming in on Line 14, so I%26#39;m trying to give him very precise info...

I appreciate the responses!
