lourdes

does anyone know if there are restrictions in Lourdes on Saturdays or Sundays? I am looking to fly into Toulouse and then take a train to Lourdes. I don%26#39;t know of any time frame. Also, I find it very hard to get info on Lourdes as to times of Mass and such. Any info?

I don%26#39;t understand what you mean by %26#39;restrictions%26#39;.

There%26#39;s a bus every 20 minutes from Toulouse Airport to the Railway Station.

The train journey to Lourdes is about 2 hours. The timetable can be seen here:

I found this on a website:

%26quot;Masses : Availables in all languages on the daily timetable (9:00 am daily in English) or the pilgrimage timetable. There are on average sixty six Masses each day in forty places of worship available in the Sanctuary. The International Mass is celebrated at 9:00 am each Sunday and Wednesday during the season, in the Basilica of st Pius X which can accomadate 30 000 faithful.%26quot;

Do we need tickets to the mass or anything like that? Is it easy to find the shuttles to the rail way because I don%26#39;t know any French? Thank you so much for this.

I have never been to a mass in Lourdes so I am afraid I cannot help with that.

This page has all the information about the airport bus in English

…aeroport.fr/airport/…navette-city-centre

It leaves from outside Gate C and ends its journey at the Toulouse bus station, which is right next to the train station. One way ticket is 4 Euros, so make sure you have some cash!

Trust that helps.

Go to the Lourdes web site --

www.lourdes-france.org/index.php…

Select the Union Jack (British) flag in the upper right hand corner for English and you%26#39;ll have access to all the information that you need, I expect.

Thanks!!
