We have been planning this Nice trip for months - Departing Toronto in one hour and just found out it will be raining in Nice all week - so much for the beach plans in Cap D%26#39;Antibes and Cap Ferrat and Nice. Can%26#39;t change plans as the apartment is already paid for - any suggestions on how to have a good time during a rainy week in Nice (we are in our 50s) Thank you

First do not despair - weather forecasts are at best an informed guess and the weather often turn out quite different from what was expected.
If you get a little rain its often fairly light and passes quickly. Believe in only what you see.
Monaco works well in the rain as a lot of its attractions are indoors like the staterooms and the Musee oceonographique.
Nice has a raft of museums and art galleries - all free - and all easily reached on foot or with help of a bus like the Cimiez Matisse
A shopping trip to Cap 3000 and the Gallaries Laffayette Gourmand can give a lift to a half day.
