Not yet - have it booked for later this month though. I have every faith as used Paris BestLodge for last trip and it was excellent.

Vacations rental by owner (VRBO.com) has lots of listings and you can search by price, size and location. I usually stay at an apt. right on Ile Saint Louis (directly across from the famous Berthillon ice cream store!). From this apt. I can radiate out through Paris with ease and it%26#39;s clean and quiet too. The owner is a very nice lady who asks for a small deposit at reservation and the balance when we check in. I%26#39;m not comfortable with some of the other apt. owners who want more than 50% months before check-in. Once, I had to cancel and the owner of my apt. immediately returned my deposit - no problem. I would recommend my apt. to you but I don%26#39;t know your budget or preferred location. By the way, a lot of apts. are NOT air conditioned and in the summer, it can get pretty hot. When choosing your apt. on VRBO, you can see if the unit has A/C or not.

Depending upon the ages of the children in the family (assuming that 2 are children?), I would recommend vrbo58971.

You didn%26#39;t mention if you want a two bedroom or one bedroom; this is a one, with a very comfortable pull out sofa in the main room. I think this might be kind of tight for 4 grown-ups, but parents and two kids would be fine.

It is in an excellent location in the 6th, close to metro, bus, stores, restaurants, etc. And it was clean and very secure. When I first read about it, I was concerned that it was ground floor, but it opens onto a private courtyard, and we felt very safe. My daughter, 6 yr old granddaughter, and I stayed there in April. Good value for the price.

We stayed in a vacationinparis.com apt #191 Great location, newly remodeled. Right in the heart of Ile St. Louis. I don%26#39;t know what your budget is, but we loved it!

I went through hundreds of listings (about 1200) based on my budget alone. Then I looked at what I had found, and the location of each place. Tip - Clear out a whole section of your bookmarks for this.

I had nine within my budget, including a condo/hotel. They also needed to match my dates. The best were booked out until next year. I had to have a kitchen to cook some of that great food from the markets... I digress.

It takes work. Paris is HUGE. I also used google%26#39;s translation for rentals and sending emails in French. I am only the second American since 2004 to rent the place that I am staying at! I was able to send emails in their language. The TA forums would be where I ask about a specific apartment in a specific area. Then you get some great answers!

We (2A/2C aged 7/9)recently stayed in a lovely 1 BR apartment in Le Marais. (VRBO# 79965) The apartment is within 100 yards of a Metro Station, the bus passes out front and there is a grocery store within 50 yards plus a Monoprix AND Piccards within 150 yards. The owner lives on the floor above and provides a lovely welcome pack and is available for any queries and...and..and.

Your initial contact is with a gentleman (a relative I beleive) in the USA.

The building infrastructure was being renovated by the city while we were there so it should be in excellent order when you arrive
