My partner and I are going to Marseille this saturday for literally 24 hours to celebrate my birthday! We arrive at MRS airport at 5pm and literally leave the following day for the airport at 7.30pm, so I was wondering if anyone could offer any suggestions on what to do with such limited time here?
We%26#39;re looking to do something more chilled and relaxing, nothing hectic and time consuming so we could be more %26quot;outdoors%26quot; than in and so we%26#39;re thinking about staying at the Pullman Marseille Palm Beach hotel as I read it has really good views of the sea and of the port?
I was just wondering if you had 24hours in Marseille what is a %26quot;must%26quot; to go do/visit??? I like the idea of being outdoors, so maybe some sort of sea activity? Is it possible to hire a boat/yatch for a few hours?? Also, we love food.. coffee and food is what we%26#39;re passionate about so any restaurant or cafe recommendations would be absolutely great!!! : )

If you are into boats do the visit to the calanques, the long one that will take you all the way to Cassis.
As far as food is concerned do you like fish? If yes, then the obvious choice is having a bouillabaisse. The 2 most well know are:
- Chez FonFon in the Vallon des Auffes small fishing port now part of Marseille
- Le Miramar on the Vieux Port (Old Port)
