I am trying to buy tickets for the %26quot;Ballets Russes%26quot; on December 18th. According to the calender at operadeparis.fr/cns11/… the tickets went on sale on Sept 7th but when I look at the schedule, there is not an icon that will let me book the tickets. I can only buy them for a charity evening on the 16th.
Is is possible that ALL tickets were sold already?
Do tickets often go onsale after the posted date?
TIA

I%26#39;ve twice before easily gotten seats to the Garnier online, so just for the heck of it, I tried for our dates in Oct. and no could do either. I read and reread the instructions, but still don%26#39;t understand how to do it. I hope someone fills us in on the procedure. Sorry to have replied w/o answering the question!

After thinking about it, I wonder if there is a problem with the production and they are not 100% that the show will happen. It%26#39;s really the only reason I can think of for the tickets not being onsale. I live in the US and don%26#39;t speak French, otherwise I would call them. I guess I was hopeful that this isn%26#39;t the only time this has happened.

I%26#39;m afraid the only likely explanation is simply that the production is sold out. The most popular ballets and operas especially at the Garnier can sell out within a few days, sometimes a few hours. If you keep checking back you *might* get lucky and find that a few seats for the date you want have become available, but the odds are not good. Otherwise call the OdP when you get to Paris or have your concierge do it for you if you are staying in a hotel that has such services.
Or just show up an hour or two before the performance to see if you can score an unwanted ticket.
I find the OdP booking process pretty straightforward, but I%26#39;m thinking of writing up a step by step %26quot;how to%26quot; post since apparently others have problems with it. I assume everyone has figured out that clicking on the %26quot;EN%26quot; on the first page gets you to the English language booking process.

Thanks Irish Rover,
I was being optimistic about getting tickets but I fear that you are right and all the performances are sold out. What a pity....
I was able to find tickets on another website for 110 euros but I am not sure if it will worth it to my husband and 17 year old son.
You don%26#39;t have to write a how to order tickets on my account. Other than the fact that there was not a B for Booking, I was able to quite easily change the language to english, navigate the website and set up an account. I even found a translation website for the items that were still in french.

Don%26#39;t write it on my account either since I have used it before, have an account, and guess my dates are all booked, also, and that is the problem. Thanks, anyway!

I agree that they must be sold out.
I recently bought tickets for the end of December. The %26quot;B%26quot; booking option was there when I bought them (the first half hour they were available), but now it is gone.

The mystery appears to have been solved!!! I guess I wasn%26#39;t fast enough. Thanks for all of your comments.
