Chic hotel in the center?

The three of us (hubby, son (5) and myself) are traveling to Paris for the first time in early November.

Plan is simple: hotel in the center (200-300 Euros per night), one day in Disneyland and then off to London by a train.

So, we are looking for a chic, unusual hotel in the center so we walk around and it is easy to the trains to Disneyland and London.

Any suggestions?

Got lost going throuh this forum and TripAdvisor listings of hotels.:(((

Hotel D%26#39;Aubusson is very chic, very central and great for walking. http://www.hoteldaubusson.com/home-en.php

So is Hotel de l%26#39;Abbaye

And Hotel de Buci http://www.bucihotel.com/

They are all close to metros, which will bring you to the RER A to go to Disney and the Gare du Nord to go to London

Thx!

I stayed at Hotel de L%26#39;Abbaye a few years back. Loved it.

The Artus is just a few door down from Le Buci, and it%26#39;s great. Very helpful front desk.

Millesime is close by (on rue Jacob). Good rates. And you can get a good deal on a triple room.

Aubusson is pretty expensive.

I%26#39;m not sure if I am understanding your post correctly. Are you coming to Paris for a visit of some days one of which you intend to spend at Disneyland? Or are you coming to Paris for 24 hours or thereabouts and spending a day at DLP? If the former the actual location of your hotel is much less important since you will be going to many other places besides DLP and the Gare du Nord.

Either way, the 4-star Villa d%26#39;Estrées hotel on rue Git-le-Coeur is literally within a few yards of the RER that will take you to the Gare du Nord to take the Eurostar train to London. The RER to DLP is just across the river. This is probably as close as you can get to having everything you are looking for in a single hotel.

Opera Richepanse between Madelaine and Concord is a winner.

No, we are coming for 4 days/three nights and off to London after that.

Although hotels recommended are all nice, we would prefer something modern and unusual! Thx

|||

What sort of price per night are you looking to pay (preferably in Euros)?

|||

Perhaps the K%26amp;K Hôtel Cayré in the 7th?

For modern AND unusual you could look at the Murano Urban Resort in the Marais.

An unusual and central hotel (Marais near Rue Rivoli) is the Hotel Bourg Tibourg on rue Bourg Tibourg. Unusual furnishings and decor. Fantastic location--beautiful. Probably a bit over 300 Euro for 3, though.

Artus on Rue Buci is very modern, although not too %26quot;unusual%26quot;
