Heading back to Paris for the third time this summer. What websites have you had success renting an apartment for a week?
Thanks

vrbo--but these are all individually owned so each one will have a unique experience. If you find one you like, mention it on this forum to see if anyone has stayed there and has personal experience.

www.parisaddress.com
I have used them twice and they were very professional and reliable

www.parisbestlodge.com
We rented from Thierry last May and again this coming May. Easy booking system, no onerous security deposits and a nice selection of well priced apartments, mostly in the Marais and some on the left bank.

I have also used parisaddress.com.
Pont 401 and AVR 20 are very good.

Dear Peter...you will find lots of reviews of apartments here
www.slowtrav.com/france/vr/list.asp?r=Paris
and here

I did not have a very good experience with an apartment I rented through VRBO. That is not to say it is a bad agency but be aware that it is ONLY an agency and you can get good and bad.
I have had very good experiences with centreparis.
I booked the apartment before I really found TA and now I would NEVER book an apartment unless I had found someone who can give me an independent unbiased opinion. Not those on the apartment website. They are not going to shout stinking fish are they?

I don%26#39;t see Vacation in Paris (www.vacationinparis.com) mentioned on here, but I (and many, many others) have had good experiences with them, and they have a wide variety of types/prices/locations of apartments. Also, they are based in New Jersey, US, so you could easily call and speak with them about your options. I also have used Chez Vous (www.chezvous.com) and Guest Apartment Services (www.guestapartment.com, based in Paris) with very good results.
There are lots of really good options out there - once you narrow things down to some specific possible choices, you might want to post back (separate one for each apartment, mentioning its name or location in your title) to see if anyone can comment on the specific places you%26#39;re considering. Have fun, and good luck.

We have stayed in five Paris apartments, but of those, we recommend only two agencies, and one private apartment:
http://www.rothray.com/
The Roth/Ray Web site offers approximately 10 nice apartments. Ray, who is British, meets you at the apartment, and is quite helpful. Each Roth/Ray apartment comes with a metered phone, making international calls (including to the U.S.) easy and quite inexpensive.
http://www.parisaddress.com/
We’ve found this site very easy to navigate/ use, and would happily rent from this company again. (We had a couple small problems with our Ile St Louis apartment, and they sent out a handyman to fix it on the first day, within hours.)
http://www.roomwithaparisview.com/
This charming %26quot;room with a view%26quot; apartment offers a %26quot;Mary Poppins%26quot; rooftop expanse of Montmartre. It is near a convenient bus line (and metro stops), and it%26#39;s not too far from the center of the city, but it feels far away from most tourists. The neighborhood is very enjoyable and real, with fine market streets and local restaurants. (And it%26#39;s very easy to communicate and make arrangements with the owners, who live in Los Angeles but have a local contact to greet and present keys, etc.) Free phone sercice to the U.S.
