Can somebody tell me what the easiest way to get to the Paris Gare Lyon Train station from the hotel du Champ de Mars on rue du Champ de Mars? Can you take the Metro from the Ecole Militaire stop and how much and how often does it run? Thank you so much in advance.

Yes, you may do by Metro. Metros run every 2 or 3 minutes (i dont know exactly, as it also varies depending on the time of day)- What you need to do is:
Take metro in Ecole Militaire (line etro 8), direction Cretell Prefecture, get off on 3rd stop which is Concorde. Change to line 1 direction Chateau de Vincennes, and get off on Gare de Lyon.
Bon voyage.

You need to get on Line 1 of the Metro to get to the Gare de Lyon, and Ecole Militaire is on Line 8. On my tiny Metro map it looks as though you can change to Line 1 (Direction Chateau de Vincennes) at Concorde, but you need to check on a large metro map at a station.
Metros run very often, but you need to allow time to change lines as well as the trip itself. There will be many stops along the way.
Verify the info I have given with someone who knows for sure; if you are staying at a hotel, they will be very helpful in telling you how to get there.

While I was double checking my metro map, I see that someone has given you good directions!

Thank you very much for the wonderful directions. Would you happen to know the time it takes to get there from the hotel and the cost per person?

My estimate (kind of guessing) I would say around 30 to 40 minutes or so. The cost was somewhere around 1 euro each person (I havent been to Paris in a couple of years) - You dont mention when you are travelling, but I recommend you study the online map to get familiar with the different metro lines and how it works. In my experience it is a very reliable, fast and cheap way of transportation and it seems that everywhere you are or need to go there is a metro station close.

The cost per person on the metro is 1.60 Euro.
According to the taxig7.com estimator
a cab ride would be 12 -15 minutes and 17-23 euros.
