weather

We are staying in November and were wondering what the weather is like? Sweaters or coats and gloves?

Trenchcoat, wellingtons, sou%26#39;wester...

well, slight exageration - it%26#39;ll still be pleasant temperature daytime but a bit cool at night, so yes, a jumper, but don%26#39;t bother with coats or gloves. A small telescopic umberella is your best defence against the odd day of rain.

Eze is at 1,500 feet so it can be chilly. I hope you realise that there will be no one else there in November!

|||

From %26quot;Murrells Inlet, SC%26quot;? Excuse us Brit%26#39;s ignorance - I needed to check - near Florida?

If that%26#39;s where you are coming from Bob%26#39;s right - you may well find %26quot;chilly%26quot; about says it, assuming what you are used to as a day to day baseline.

You probably won%26#39;t even have the usual cruiseboat day trippers for company. And days when the weather goes bad you are up in the clouds, and November is the Riviera%26#39;s rainiest month. Of course this could be part of a cunning plan, but its fair to say %26quot;Eze in November%26quot; would not be an obvious combination for many folk.

NiceLife,

I did exaggerate a bit but I remember being in Eze one November on a cloudy day and there was, quite literally, no one else there. I suspect amasingg would be happier down on the coast. Eze was glorious yesterday and not too crowded.

All the best,

Bob

We are staying in Nice and Monte Carlo. Just a quick visit staying with relatives in LaSpezia.I hope nice and Monte Carlo are not deserted to. Murrells Inlet is in South Carolina about 6 hours north of florida but we have mild weather I%26#39;m thinking maybe about the same as Nice I hope

|||

Nice and Monte carlo are never deserted -however you posted your question in the Eze forum , and Eze is very, very quiet in the winter months.

|||

Eze is much given to low cloud, even in summer, so prepare to get wet.

Depending on when in November you are visiting, you might catch the %26#39;FĂȘte du Prince%26#39; celebrations in Monaco (19th November) = parade, fireworks (previous night), funfair in the Port area from Oct 23rd to Nov 19th that usually attracts a lot of people...
