I am travelling solo to Paris for a week. Since this is my first time to the city, I would love to capture some photos at night. I may take a Bateaux tour one evening and thought of climbing the Arc at night. I would like to find a walking tour, but have had no luck. Does anyone know of one? In case I cannot find a walking tour, are there certain areas in the evening that are not recommended as a single female on my own?
Thank you in advance.

You can walk around most of the city, especially where the monuments are. Two places I avoid, and only beyond midnight, are the ChatĂȘlet metro station (in the station itself) and Carrousel du Louvre.
On the other hand, I find it refreshingly wonderful to be able to stroll alone at night because the streets are full of light and people and laughter and activity.

That%26#39;s great news, as I will be in the same position in 4 weeks 2 days!

I don%26#39;t know about a walking tour at night, but there is a night, bike tour that is really fun! It can be found at fattirebiketours.com. I am 54 and did it last Novemenber. It is not hard and really great to see the sites all lit up all over the city. It includes a Seine river cruise and it%26#39;s nice to be with other people some times when you are traveling solo!! Check it out.

I agree about fat tire bike tours. I have done both the day and night tour. I recently looked at their website and I think they may have added walking tours. The night bike tour ends up on the bateaux mouche with wine. I highly recommend this group.
